Final Transnational Meeting of the Project Partners in Genova, Italy on the 4th and 5th of July 2018
The final meeting to the Project “Development of a Training Concept for Executive Chefs and Chefs as a Basis for the Implementation of Resource Efficiency in Large-scale Kitchens (ReKuK)” with the final meeting of the partners on the 4th and 5th of July 2018 in Genoa, at the Vico Papa Laboratorio Sociale. The partners from Austria, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic used this opportunity to review the project achievements, to distribute the tasks for a successful project conclusion (31st August 2018) and to discuss the future dissemination and sustainability of the project results in the respective partner countries.
Possible partners ensuring sustainable implementation of the intellectual outputs are e.g.: kitchen associations, municipalities, programmes dealing with sustainability in public catering certification companies in the food sector, research facilities, start-ups in the food sector, universities and facilities offering adult.
Each partner presented a number of already undertaken activities detailed strategy ensuring the dissemination, and particularly the sustainability of the intellectual outputs of the project, also by involving stakeholders outside the project itself after its conclusion. To this end, the partners presented also Letters of Intent and shared experience of well-documented negotiations at an advanced stage with prospective clients.
The intellectual outputs of ReKuK provide chefs and executive chefs also in other EU countries with high-quality training materials which explain backgrounds and methodology, offer practical solutions and best practice examples towards resource-efficiency measures in the large-scale kitchens.
